COMMERCIAL: CANOPY REFURBISHMENT
RHYL RAILWAY STATION
PROJECT OVERVIEW
Work was recently completed the replace the paneled glazing on the refurbished canopy of the train station. Working in conjunction with JPF Systems Ltd and Pen Y Bryn Joinery to create a new stunning facelift to the old entrance. A Lonsdale Skyguard lantern aluminum roofing system using 8.8mm clear laminate single-glazed glass.
The popular seaside resort of Rhyl is served by the two platforms of Rhyl Station. Opened in 1848, the line takes passengers along the stunning Welsh coastline that borders the Irish Sea. Seeing more than half a million visitors every year, the original station has undergone several redevelopments and additions since its inception. The impressive Victorian station frontage opens into the heart of Rhyl, only minutes from the tourist attraction of the seafront, making this the perfect destination for a day out by train.
