OUR HISTORY
For almost 30 years, our business has been helping customers create safer, more accessible and better-performing entrances.
Today, ADC Entrance Solutions is a specialist entrance and access solutions company based in Bromborough, Wirral. But our story began in 1997, when the business was founded by Mike Parker and Nick Judge as JPF Systems Ltd.
1997 – The Beginning
JPF Systems Ltd was established in April 1997 by Mike Parker and Nick Judge.
Our company initially focused on the manufacture and installation of aluminium windows, doors and curtain walling, establishing a strong reputation for quality workmanship and reliable project delivery.
From these early beginnings, Mike and Nick developed the business around a commitment to technical expertise, quality products and dependable customer service.
2002 – The Automatic Door Company
As demand for accessible automated entrances grew, JPF Systems began receiving increasing numbers of enquiries for automatic doors.
In 2002, Mike and Nick responded by establishing The Automatic Door Company (ADC).
The new operation specialised in the installation, servicing and maintenance of automatic doors, while also developing expertise in associated access products including industrial doors, roller shutters, gates and barriers.
This marked an important stage in our company’s development, moving beyond its original aluminium and glazing work into the specialist entrance and access sector.
Growing Our Expertise
Over the following two decades, the business continued to grow and diversify.
What began with aluminium windows, doors and curtain walling developed into a comprehensive range of entrance and access solutions.
Our ability to combine installation with ongoing servicing and maintenance has allowed us to support customers throughout the complete lifecycle of their entrance systems.
2024 – ADC Entrance Solutions
After 25 years of development, it became clear that the business had grown considerably beyond its original identity as JPF Systems.
For many years, the company had operated under two names:
JPF Systems Ltd and The Automatic Door Company (ADC)
Neither name fully represented the breadth of services the business had developed.
In April 2024, JPF Systems Ltd officially changed its legal name to: ADC Entrance Solutions Limited
The new branding and name brought our company’s different areas of expertise together under one identity.
ADC Entrance Solutions reflects what we do today: providing complete entrance solutions, from automatic doors and access systems to curtain walling, industrial doors, shutters, gates, servicing and maintenance.
