CHESTER ZOO
PROJECT OVERVIEW
ADC has worked with Chester Zoo for several years, providing both services and installations. The entire ADC team are passionate supporters of the Zoo and make frequent visits. Our Service Engineers have installed roller shutters, automatic swing doors, and automatic sliding doors in various areas, including the Chimp House, Monkey Island, Café Bembe, and the Batcave.
These doors are designed to close safely yet swiftly, ensuring the well-being of the residents & visitors in the conservation area. Our engineers worked discreetly to avoid disturbing the animals, seamlessly integrating their efforts into the natural surroundings.
Chimp House
Install of 2 Aluminium Automatic Roller Shutters with Vision Panels. All the usual Installation noises were kept to a minimum on this so all the chimps were happy and loving their new shutter!
Monkey Island
Install of Aluminum Automatic Roller Shutter. Our Engineers had to tiptoe around the monkeys whilst installing this lovely powder coated green roller shutter to not disturb them.
Cafe Bembe
Install of Aluminium Automatic Roller Shutter. ‘Underneath the existing door on Cafe Beme’. Easy operation to keep food areas secure and clean when not in operation.
