What’s your role here?
Working as an Installations Estimator, I manage client communications through phone and email, assess tender documents, drawings and specifications, prepare design proposals, produce accurate cost estimates, and submit quotations in line with project requirements.
One thing you’ve learned since joining?
I have shown that I can successfully transfer my skills between different roles. Starting in Service within PPM, I then moved into Marketing and supported the Installations team before progressing to my current role as an Installations Estimator 10 years later.
Favourite moment since joining ADC?
I’d say now really.. Sept/Oct 26 helping John in marketing design the games room.
One thing people don’t know about you?
Yes, I’m one of those people with a fan-edit YouTube page. I don’t tell many people about it, but I’ve had it since I was 10 and it’s a great little portfolio of all the edits I’ve created over the years. I basically have two names, my editing name, and my everyday name.
P.S. An unusual highlight from my fan-editing journey was receiving the lead singer of The Script’s jeans in the post one Christmas as a thank you for my dedication and fan edits over the years.
What song is always on your playlist?
What song is always on your playlist? Taylor Swift, The Tortured Poets Department album, you can’t just pick one song from that album.
Dream travel destination?
New York would be my first choice. As a film fan, I’d love to explore famous filming locations, and I’d also like to visit Ground Zero to reflect on and learn more about such an important part of history.
Favourite comfort food?
Chocolate all the way, yum yum yum!
Favourite way to unwind after work?
Hot tub & chilling in my garden with a good BBQ.
Most-used app on your phone?
I refused to download it, but cat videos got the better of me.. TikTok.
Best band /show you have seen live?
The Script. Through my fan-editing work, I had the opportunity to take over their Instagram for a night during their 2022 tour and have been lucky enough to meet them.
I also had the incredible experience of walking them on stage at the M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool in both 2014 and 2024 and got to spend two days behind the scenes with stage set up and sound check.
Honestly, you can’t top an experience like that.
