£2000 Raised For The Stroke Association
Remembering Andy on our long trek up the mountain
Our team of hikers braved the long uphill walk up Snowdonia and raised £2000 for our cause. Fantastic day and the views were amazing. Many sore legs the day after but the experience was worth the aches.
Finding Strength Through Support
The Stroke Association stands as the sole charity in the UK dedicated to offering lifelong support to all stroke survivors and their families. We create various opportunities for stroke survivors to connect with others who have experienced similar challenges.
A stroke occurs when the blood flow to a portion of the brain is interrupted, leading to the death of brain cells. This damage can impact bodily functions and may also alter thoughts and emotions. The consequences of a stroke vary based on its location in the brain and the extent of the affected area.
Experiencing a stroke can be transformative. It can strike anyone, regardless of age, and its impact is unique to each individual.
